Digital Printing processes

Dye Sublimation

This digital transfer process is a combination of heat and pressure. The solid dye particles in the ink are changed into gas which is then absorbed by the substrate fibres and then changed back into a solid. As the colour is absorbed rather than sitting on the surface the output is more durable and less vulnerable to scratching and fading.

Ink Jet Printing

A non-impact digital printing process in which an intermittent or continuous stream of microscopic ink droplets are projected onto a substrate at high velocity from a pressurized system, the quality of the printer determines the speed and accuracy of the spray.

Screen Printing

Customise / personalise your Canopy with either / both standard block lettering or your organisations logos and pantone colours (whatever your chosen colour fabric). This heat-cure process is long lasting with no scratching or peeling of the graphics. This printing process can be used for the StarShade, StarStage and StarTwin Canopies.

Materials

Two ounce Tafetta

A Sublimated Polyester weave used for the Banners (Example - "Teardrop" Shape).

Monroe weave FR

A Sublimated Polyester weave used solely for the A-Frame.

250 FR

An inkjet finished fire resistant PU coated (one-sided) Polyester material used for the Pop Ups
(Example - A Frame, Pi t/ Message Board, Bin and the Bikemat ).

250 / 500 Denier Oxford Polyester

A Lightweight, durable, water resistant, fire retardant and U.V. protected material used for the StarShade, StarStage and StarTwin Canopies.
